Topic: Telling Stories – Building a Brand With Words
innocent is a product of lots of fruit and also a fair few words. We’ve used words to bring our brand to life over the years, and whether by design or by accident have created a tone of voice and a character that sits behind all that we do. These are the stories from our first thirteen years, which illustrate how we’ve taken a brand from zero to something that sits in the fridges of millions of people right across Europe.

Dan is Creative Director at innocent, the healthy food and drink company. He’s worked there since the company started in 1999. These days his duties include running the in-house creative team, and overseeing all design, copy and creative tasks, from ads to web to books to packaging. Creating the tone of voice and the brand culture from scratch are Dan’s proudest achievements, and he is still searching for ways to keep the business both useful and interesting.
